Destia a Colas Company representatives, Mika Jaakkola, Marko Virtanen and Rauli Tuominen, were visiting the Junttan factory and presented their model-based production to Kari Pöllänen and Niilo Niemi. Model-based production refers to a new method and form of data transfer in infrastructure construction, in which construction-related plans and as-built data are digitally available to management and other stakeholders of projects. The utilization of information modeling and machine automation has provided significant benefits and time savings for infrastructure construction businesses. And now Destia will be widening the use of model-based construction to their upcoming Junttan PMx22 pile driving rig. Exciting development and use of technology. Great to be part of it!
