Roger Bullivant Chooses DR5 Drilling Rig for CFA Projects

Roger Bullivant Limited, part of the VINCI Group, commenced the hire of the Junttan DR5 in June, with the rig supplied in its standard leader configuration. Prior to mobilisation, Junttan provided a short familiarisation training session for Roger Bullivant’s operator and updated the machine display settings to meet the company’s operational requirements. The machine has since been mobilised to a Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) piling project in the Midlands, where it is currently installing 300 & 350 mm diameter CFA piles.

Following the successful completion of this initial contract, the DR5 will remain on hire to undertake a further CFA project in Scotland. This phase of work will see the rig installing significantly larger 900mm diameter CFA piles, highlighting the versatility and capability of the DR5 across a broad range of foundation applications.
