P14 Cimentaciones piled the New Amazon Logistics Centre in Spain with Junttan Rigs

Junttan client P14 Cimentaciones from Valencia, Spain won the piling contract for the New Amazon Logistic Warehouse in Barcelona, Spain. The Logistics Centre project is estimated to be finished by autumn 2017. The whole contract was managed by Dragados SA. The warehouse resides in a land of 150,808 sq. and will offer jobs for 1,500 by the year 2020.

P14 Cimentaciones finished successfully the piling work of 2400 pcs of concrete piles. The piles were 400×400 mm on diameter and 40 – 42 meters of length. P14 Cimentaciones used Junttan rigs PMx22 and PM20LC for this project. Junttan HHK 5/7A hydraulic hammers were used for pile driving. P14 Cimentaciones finished the piling work on time. Most importantly the main contractor, Dragados SA was able to continue the project on schedule.

P14 Cimentaciones has been extremely happy with the productivity and reliability of Junttan rigs. An important efficiency factor has been the low fuel consumption of Junttan machinery during the project.
