Newark Windfarm foundations with Junttan rig

Aarsleff Ground Engineering UK:
Aarsleff Ground Engineering’s head office now proudly overlooks the wind farm in Hawton, Newark, where they installed the foundations for the three turbines. Aarsleff installed 54 open-ended steel tubes for each of the three turbines, with pile lengths ranging from 18 metres to 24 metres. The work was carried out in July 2016 with their Junttan PM20 rig, fitted with a five-tonne accelerated hammer.
