Junttan strengthens its Presence in Southeast Asia

Asian markets have played an important role for Junttan throughout its 40-year long history. This year Junttan took a new step to strengthen its presence in the region. Area Service Manager Mika Junkkila and his family moved to Singapore early August 2016. The purpose of Mika and his family to relocated in Singapore is to have Junttan close to dealers and customers in the region.

Mika Junkkila and his family have been in Singapore now for three months. It is a very short time to establish office, home and life in a new place. Mika is in full action in making the best out of his close proximity to the customers and adjusting to the new environment.

Mika has been working in the region for a number of years both in service and sales roles. Being located in Singapore helps him to diminish the continental travel and to focus on the key matters close to him. He also works as a smooth link between Asia and Junttan headquarters in Kuopio, Finland.

The whole Junttan team wants to thank Mika and his family for investing time and effort in learning about Singapore and its customs as well as making Junttan’s presence in Southeast Asia very real.
