Junttan’s Sales & Service team recently completed an extensive equipment audit tour across Brazil, visiting multiple cities, sites, and workshops and inspecting a total of 18 Junttan rigs, hammers, and power units. The objective was clear: to support our customers in maintaining safe operations and maximizing productivity through structured, data-driven equipment audits.
The audits were carried out in close cooperation with GNG Fundações Especiais, Perfurac Engenharia Ltda, Solofix Fundações, and Silvageo Fundações. During the tour, our Brazilian dealer, Biosonda Comércio e Locação de Equipamentos, also participated in some of the audits to gain deeper insight into the audit process and its execution.

Each unit underwent a full-day inspection using a standardized ~250-point checklist. The audits covered safety and control systems, the health of the hydraulic system, and detailed wear measurements of critical moving components. The outcome for every customer was a clear and practical condition report describing the current safety status, usage condition, and a prioritized plan for recommended repairs and spare parts.
With support from the Junttan factory service team, audit findings were quickly converted into concrete actions. This approach helps customers plan maintenance efficiently, minimize unplanned downtime, and return their equipment to peak operating condition with confidence.
The value of the audit process was also clearly recognized by customers. Perfurac Engenharia Ltda expressed its complete satisfaction with the audits, highlighting the Junttan team’s commitment and technical expertise. The company emphasized that this level of direct factory support is essential for maximizing equipment performance while ensuring the highest safety and quality standards in demanding foundation projects. The audit further strengthened the partnership and reinforced Perfurac’s confidence in continuing to invest in advanced technologies for complex applications.
Similarly, GNG Fundações Especiais described the inspection process as highly positive, noting the thorough, meticulous approach taken by Junttan’s technical team. Detailed inspections covered all systems and components, with some non-conformities resolved immediately on site—demonstrating strong technical expertise, agility, and commitment. The resulting comprehensive technical report provided clear visibility into equipment condition and required actions, while also introducing new inspection elements that added further value.
Beyond the technical results, GNG highlighted the importance of collaboration between Junttan’s technicians and their own operators and maintenance personnel. The open dialogue, technical discussions, and exchange of experience contributed to strengthening internal knowledge and supporting continuous improvement in both operations and maintenance. The audit was seen not only as an inspection, but as a renewal of confidence in the equipment, supported by certification and reinforced through practical training and knowledge sharing.

Beyond the technical work, the audit tour also provided valuable insight into daily site operations. It was clear that Junttan equipment is operated and maintained by highly professional teams who understand both the machines and the demands of their projects. We observed well-organized site operations with a strong focus on safety, efficient material flow, and disciplined production planning. Customer service crews demonstrated deep technical expertise and a proactive approach to maintenance, both essential factors in achieving long service life and reliable performance of heavy foundation equipment.

Equipment audits are not only about identifying wear or potential risks. They are also an opportunity for open technical discussion, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement on both sides. For Junttan, seeing how our equipment performs in real working conditions provides valuable feedback that supports product development, service processes, and long-term customer partnerships.
The Brazil audit tour once again demonstrated that safe and productive operations are built through cooperation, transparency, and professional competence – on-site and at every level of the organization.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all our customers for their collaboration and trust throughout the audit tour. A special thank you for the warm welcome we received at every location – your openness, professionalism, and partnership made this tour a great success.
