Reducing noise on urban job sites is becoming increasingly important – and in many cases, it’s a requirement for getting permits to operate.

That was exactly the case for a recent piling project in Denmark, where our customer Ivan Jakobsen Entreprenørfirma A/S used the Junttan Noise Silencer Kit on their Junttan PMx25 equipped with a 7-ton hammer.

The municipality required a noise-reducing solution due to the nearby surroundings, and the results on-site were clear. Independently verified results confirming approximately 6.7 dB noise reduction – equivalent to reducing sound energy by a factor of ~4.7.
