Hercules Fundering, part of NCC, is piling foundations for the large Nicolinehus project in Aarhus, Denmark, with three Junttan pile driving rigs (two PMx27 and one PM20LC).
NCC was commissioned by property developer Bricks A/S to build Nicolinehus in Aarhus, Denamrk, a construction project of 40,000 square meters valued at nearly SEK 1.4 billion. Nicolinehus will be constructed in Aarhus Docklands, an emerging neighborhood between the former city center and container port area, close to the sea, beaches and forest. Nicolinehus is a unique construction project comprising two triangular blocks placed closely together, with staggered terraces in buildings up to 17 stories high overlooking the quay from two directions.
Construction has started at end of summer 2019 and is scheduled for completion by 2022.
